The Trust was formed in 2004 when a new agreement was reached with Ryder Cup Europe to include the European PGAs at the RCEDT. In addition to the PGA of Great Britain and Ireland and the European Tour, a 20/20/60 split was created.
Since then, the Trust has supported over 35 projects in more than 30 countries, with over £2.2 million in funds awarded to projects ranging from free lessons at European Tour events, golf initiatives for the disabled, to junior and educational programmes are sufficient.
